The company celebrates the anniversary with a series of special initiatives, dedicated events and exclusive promotions, involving customers, suppliers, employees and the local community.

Refrattari Speciali, leader in the production of ceramic rollers and cordiertic products, crosses the finish line of 50 years of activity. Half a century of history characterized by important results and great satisfaction which testify to the constant commitment to provide cutting-edge refractory solutions for various sectors internationally.

Founded in 1973 in Roteglia (RE) by brothers Donante and Romano Casolari, together with Augusto and Romano Pellesi, the company began the artisanal production of refractory components in a modest garage. Initially these were sliding plates and single firing boxes to which refractory supports were subsequently added for use in ceramic ovens. The far-sighted entrepreneurial vision has led the company to evolve and stand out on the market for innovation, quality and customer service.

Today Refrattari Speciali has its headquarters in Castellarano (Reggio Emilia), where it moved in 1976 and, under the guidance of Marica Casolari and Roberto Pellesi, it is configured as an international reality with a team of 40 employees highly qualified and a network of 15 agents operating in over 28 countries promoting the exclusive value of Made in Italy on a global level.

From consultancy to design to assistance service, the company has always been committed to maintaining the values ​​of quality and reliability that have always distinguished it, allowing it to reach customers in 28 countries around the world.

For this reason, Refrattari speciali has decided, on the occasion of its 50 years of activity, to make an AED (automatic external defibrillator) available to its workers within the company.
In July the emergency team staff was fully trained for use with a specific course held within the company itself.
A choice that increasingly directs the company towards the well-being of its workers, the cornerstone of its history.
