Refrattari Speciali turns 50

The company celebrates the anniversary with a series of special initiatives, dedicated events and exclusive promotions, involving customers, suppliers, employees and the local community.

Refrattari Speciali, leader in the production of ceramic rollers and cordiertic products, crosses the finish line of50 years of activity. Half a century of history characterized by important results and great satisfaction which testify to the constant commitment toprovide cutting-edge refractory solutionsfor various sectors internationally.

Founded in 1973 in Roteglia (RE) by brothers Donante and Romano Casolari, together with Augusto and Romano Pellesi, the company began the artisanal production of refractory components in a modest garage. Initially these were sliding plates and single firing boxes to which refractory supports were subsequently added for use in ceramic ovens. The far-sighted entrepreneurial vision has led the company to evolve and stand out on the market for innovation, quality and customer service.

Today Refrattari Speciali has its headquarters in Castellarano (Reggio Emilia), where it moved in 1976 and, under the guidance of Marica Casolari and Roberto Pellesi, it is configured as an international reality with ateam of 40 employeeshighly qualifiedand a network of 15 agents operating in over 28 countriespromoting the exclusive value of Made in Italy on a global level.
